Figure 1. Immunoblotting of type I collagen (protein and polypeptides) isolated from bone graft materials. Electrophoresis of samples in 5% PAAG (Hayashi, Nagai; 1979).
A – type I collagen from calf skin;
B - compact bone proteins;
C - proteins of spongy bone tissue.
The polypeptides detected in the gel are shown by arrows.
Applications:
A - 10, 15 and 20 µl (5, 7.5 and 10 µg of protein);
B and C - 25 (1), 50 (2) and 25 (3) µl.
Samples applied to the first two tracks of both prototypes before being applied to the gel were kept for 5 minutes at room temperature, then, also for 5 minutes, were kept also in a boiling water bath. Proteins subjected to heat treatment only were applied to the third track.
